The first few Blackberry Storm reviews are finally out. If you have been wondering whether the new Blackberry Storm is better than the iphone you will want to read the latest reviews and commentary. In this post I will look at the physical side of the Blackberry Storm, the new click screen and the only real downside I've found so far.

There is no denying this - the new Blackberry Storm is big! Now that might mean "robust and sturdy" to you or it might mean "this is too heavy to carry around". It's heavier than the iphone. You get the feeling that it will last some time and will take some pounding. The design generally is very nice but let me say this again....it's big folks!

Secondly there is an innovative click screen. In effect the whole screen is one big button. The commentaries I've read have indicated that it doesn't take long to get used to this but it's an innovation on a Blackberry and may put the more traditional Blackberry user off.

Finally the main issue that would put me off, as a Blackberry user, is the apparent lag time in typing. It appears that there is a lag and so the usually speedy Blackberry response time is noticeably slower. That's not good but I'll reserve my judgement on this until I've been able to try out the new Blackberry Storm for myself.
